President

Veronica Venier is president of NSGV since June 2022. She comes from Italy and she is currently studying International Business at Maastricht University. Veronica has been playing golf for 3 years, and she is completely obsessed with it since the first day. She has been president of the Maastricht student golf association and she has been in close contact with the professional golf world attending many DP World Tour events. Veronica is enthusiastic and honoured to be guiding the Dutch student golf association

Secretary

Mike Gesthuizen is since November 2021 the new secretary of the NSGV. Mike is currently studying the bachelor Global Studies at the University of Maastricht. He has been playing golf for 15 years, starting at the age of 6. Mike got into golf because his dad has been active in the golf world for over 20 years. He is looking forward to help grow Dutch student golf and make it more relevant in the future.

Treasurer

Luc Boender is the treasurer of the NSGV since 2021 and is the successor of Emiel Verhaert. Currently, Luc is doing his bachelor’s in International Business at The Hague university of Applied science. Luc started his journey with golf during his first year of college at the RSGA. He can frequently be found on the golf course ever since. As treasurer Luc will be responsible for the finances of the association and will do everything to keep the NSGV financially healthy.

External commissioner

Joep Obers is since August 2022 the vice president of the NSGV. Joep has just started his master’s in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology Eindhoven. He started golfing at an age of 7 years. Last year Joep was the treasurer of E.S.G.V. de Club. After this board year, it was time for something else. As vice president, Joep will try to find new sponsors, and help in organizing activities to unite the different student golf associations.
